The Uganda Premier League Secretariat has tentatively set the date on when the next season will get underway.
In a communication released on Friday, next season will kick off on Tuesday September 9.
This was done after receiving a communication from the federation.
“The UPL Secretariat has received a communication from FUFA Competitions Department in regard to AUPL 2017/18 kick off date…..” reads part of the communiqué.
Initially, the league would have resumed in August but following a busy schedule for the national team.
The Cranes have a 2018 World Cup qualifier game against Egypt at home.
And if the CHAN team eliminates South Sudan, Uganda will have to play either Rwanda or Tanzania.
FUFA Super Cup between KCCA FC and SC Villla will be played on September 9.
