As Onduparaka FC prepares for the upcoming Azam Uganda Premier League season slated for next month, the Club is to miss the services of their former skipper Shaban ‘Jargasson’ Mohamad in their pre-season tour games.
The Arua based club is set to travel to Moyo today for a friendly but the team’s Spokesperson Otelul Vargas has confirmed to ChimpReports that Shaban will travel with the team, but as a spectator, and he will not play because he is injured.
Shaban who is the reigning FUFA player of the year suffered a knock in Uganda’s first leg tie against Rwanda after coming on as a substitute.
“The doctors have confirmed that Muhammad shaban will be sidelined for two weeks bevause of a crocked knee,” Said Otelul.
Close sources believe that Shaban has been nursing this knee injury but it was not this terrible, and the player missed six games last season.
