Police Bus Moving FDC Officials Catches Fires

The FDC officials after evacuating the smoking bus

A Police bus which was transporting some of the recently arrested Forum for Democtaic Chamnge officials caught fire.

The Police bus Registration Number UP 2319 which was moving the officails from Jinja toward Kampala caught fire in Mabira Forest.

No injuries were reported as everyone was evacuated safely.

According to FDC officials, the bus was moving the detainees from the Nalufenya Police detention center to Kasangati.

“All occupants are out and safe…The cause of the fire is not yet known, even the police goons are confused,” said one Francis Bahene in a Facebook post.

The bus which seemed to have overheated started to smoke, and the passengers were removed from fast. Another police vehicle was sent in to carry on the journey to Kasangati

The officials were arrested early this week in, Kyaddondo by Police and Special Forces officials “while conducting unauthorized meetings.”
