Onduparaka Football Club has been one of the busiest clubs in the preseason period playing out several trial games in a bid to prepare for the forthcoming season.
Over the weekend, the Arua based side confirmed they will have a buildup game against FC Jeunesse Sportif de Kibali (JSK) from Durba, Congo.
“We shall have another friendly with a team from across the boarders as we prepare for the new season,” reads a statement in part.
“FC JSK is a well-organized team that is being bankrolled by gold mining company Kibali, they too have players from the neighboring countries like Zambia and Angola who also part-time in gold mining.”
The game is slated for September 1st at the Betway Greenlight stadium in Arua District.
This will be the third international friendly for the West Nile giants with the other two coming against Kenya’ Gor Mahia and Azam FC from Tanzania.
Onduparaka have made several new additions to their squad adding both experienced and fresh blood.
Among the notable signings include Karim Nduggwa, Nicholas Sebwato and Rajab Kakooza among others.
The caterpillars’ first game in the league will be at home to Proline FC on 12th September.
