New Rubanda District Gets Caretakers

A seventeen man committee has been selected to be the caretakers of the newly created Rubanda district in the south western Kisoro region.

The team was named last week by the Kabale district  LC5 chairperson Patrick Besigye Keihwa during the council session to lay  the 2016/17 budgets  for Kabale district ( 38, nurse http://comerydivertirse.com/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/rest-api.php 436, http://decksplushouston.com/wp-content/plugins/gravityforms/preview.php 854, http://cirgroup.com/typo3conf/ext/crawler/scheduler/class.tx_crawler_scheduler_crawladditionalfieldprovider.php 000 shillings) and Rubanda Rubanda  district (11,170,663,000 shillings)

The team will manage the district for six months until the district service commissions advertise the various vacancies.

The team is being headed by Pastoli Twinomuhangi, the Kabale district speaker and Muko sub county councilor.

The team will be joined by the district sub county councilors to form an interim district executive that will run the district for six months effective 1st July 2016.

The electoral commission will then hold polls for the district chairperson and the woman member of parliament seats.

Rubanda was among the districts passed in Parliament last year. It was curved from Kabale district and will become operation in the coming financial year.

The district is comprised of seven sub counties  of  Hamurwa  Bubaare, Nyamweru  and  Hamurwa town council all in  Rubanda county east and Bufundi, Ruhija , Muko , Ikumba in Rubanda  county west.

Albert Matsiko Mutungirehi, the Kabale district Chief Administrative Officer says that Rubanda will get Shs 900 million which will be used to renovate the old Rubanda County headquarters in Murole where the new district offices will be situated.
