KIU Titans vs Falcons

With no games that were played on Friday following the unavailability of YMCA’s court, UCU Mukono accepted to host the league games, particularly Sunday’s encounter.

The Top flight League will resume Sunday with 2 and 3 games in Ladies and Men’s category respectively and of those, KIU Titans against Falcons is probably the major highlight of the day.

In the first round, Sudi Ulanga scored 24 points as KIU Titans overcame Falcons with a 95-54 victory, and as KIU Titans will be looking to record a double against their opponents, nothing but revenge will be on the minds of the 6 time record Champions.

KIU Titans has only 3 defeats and all have come against their direct rivals in City Oliers, Pemba Warriors and Betway Power.

They have not slipped against any lower ranked team this season so far, and Falcons will need more than a miracle to change that fate.

Falcons on the hand had a poor first round that saw them suffer 4 consecutive defeats before ending with just two victories.

But the team has started the second campaign on a brighter note, beating Sharing Youth in their opener and they will hope to put up another dominating performance if they are to pick maximum point.

In the other game, Betway Power will miss their reliable Captain Joseph Ikong as he travelled with the Silverbacks to Egypt, but Arnold Lando has enough fire power to see off a struggling bottom placed Nkumb Marines.

The ladies Category will see Lioness with a huge task of gunning down KCCA Leopards.

Lioness have had their worst nightmare so far, suffering 8 consecutive defeats and are now travelling to Mukono to face KCCA Leopards who are not only table leaders but also still unbeaten.
