City Oilers vs JKL dolphins

The National Basketball League game played yesterday at YMCA court between defending Champions City Oilers and JKL dolphins was called off with just a minute and 4 seconds left to be played.

With Mandy Juruni’s Oilers holding a 73-33 lead in the fourth quarter, the referees deemed the court unplayable due to its slippery surface as there were no signs of the drizzle to let up.

If JKL dolphins thought that they would live to die another day, it was otherwise agreed that the game should be played the following day, which is today.

The game has been scheduled today at 6pm at YMCA Outdoor court in Wandegeya with a one-minute-and-4-second duration.

This is the second game this season for City Oilers to be called off due to rainfall, their game on July 5 against Falcons was postponed to let a delayed ladies league game between Nkumba Lady Marines and Gladiators proceed.

City Oilers last game in this year’s first round fixture is against StarTimes Falcons which has been set on July 30 at MTN Arena Lugogo.
