State House’s Chief Transport Officer has passed away, Friday morning.
Engineer Francis Bweshenga Byamukama breathed his last today according to Lindah Nabusayi, the President’s Press Secretary.
Nabusayi described the deceased as ” A great hardworking civil servant”

Senior Presidential Press Secretary Don Wanyama told us the deceased had been battling a cancer for some time.
Wanyama says Byamukama lost the battle this morning at Naksero Hospital.
The deceased was in charge of among others supervising President Museveni’s drivers and the entire State House fleet.
Information and and ICT Minister Frank Tumwebaze also described Byamukama as a “Hard working officer.”
The State House Comptroller Lucy Nakyobe in a statement, revealed that a vigil would be held for the deceased on Friday night at his home in Kiwologoma, Kiira Municipality at 6.00pm.
There will be a requiem Mass at Namugongo Catholic Martyrs Shrine on Saturday August 12th, 2017 at 9.00am and burial will be on Sunday August 13th, 2017 at Nyakishojwa, Kizinda, in Bushenyi District at 12.00pm.
