Political observers have since warned that future political battles are likely to be fought on social media especially Facebook and Twitter.

Lumumba fired back, saying Kategere’s familiarity should find a limit.

Kategere is a divisive figure who was recently accused of ridiculing President Museveni by saying he should seek a life presidency.

A new group of NRM Poor Youth which supports Museveni for the 2016 election has since come up to denounce Kategere’s wing which is mobilising for Mbabazi.

Kategere today said Lumumba called him to express her dissatisfaction.

“What have I done again this time my dear friend the Hon J K Justine Lumumba? You have just called and talked to me on phone. I have taken your concerns seriously. I have nothing personal against you. You are too senior in politics. I just thought you knew challenges exist in this field,” said Kategere, sarcastically.

Lumumba is thought to have told a recent NRM CEC that Mbabazi’s supporters continue to harass and abuse her on Facebook.

She singled out Alice Ruhindi among others.
