KCB Donates Shs10 million Towards NSSF Hashers Run

In a bid to support and improve the learning conditions for schools under the Universal Primary Education (UPE), clinic http://cnsawdust.com/templates/rt_radiance/html/com_k2/templates/profile.php KCB Bank Uganda has donated 10 million shillings towards the maiden NSSF Kampala Hash Seven Hills Run.

The donation the bank says, http://cfbtoman.com/wp-includes/atomlib.php seeks to raise Sh240 million, an initiative aimed at renovating schools across Kampala as well as construction of water harvesting tanks at Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) schools to improve sanitation.

Speaking during the handover, Mathias Muhimbisa, the KCB Bank Uganda Executive Director said the donation is geared towards ensuring that pupils in these schools have access to clean and safe water and better learning conditions.

“KCB Bank Uganda has contributed 10 million shillings towards the run. Education is one of our key focus areas and this run will make a significant contribution towards improvement of learning conditions of our future generation,” Said Muhimbisa. “We are proud to support a course that resonates with us as a bank and as individuals.”

Over 40 KCCA schools are expected to benefit from the kitty. According to KCCA Majority of the Universal Primary Education (UPE) schools have dilapidated classrooms and have no access to clean and safe water for the pupils.

The 21km non-competitive race in partnership with Kampala Hash House Harriers (KH3) race will traverse the seven hills of Kampala starting from Nsambya hill, heading to Nakasero, Namirembe, Rubaga, Old Kampala, Lubiri and Kibuli.
