Kayihura Defends Police on Corruption

Former Uganda Cranes captain Parry Oketch has been confirmed dead Friday morning at Gulu regional referral hospital.

Officials were reported to have asked the NRM Secretary General to secure an ‘official’ passport considering that he is a Member of Parliament.

Kayihura however applauded the CIID and commended the directorate for its efforts in ensuring capacity and capability building hence offering quality work to the country men and women.

He highlighted the need to continue modernizing the CIID since crime is also becoming more sophisticated and more organized due to advancement in technology.

The launched CIID rectification campaign is a booklet to guide all unit commanders on the new improved methods of work and delivering of better investigation and intelligence services.
