Buddu 4-2 Busiro

Buddu came back from two goals down to defeat Busiro 4-2 in the Masaza Cup playoff match played at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

Busiro started the game brightly with Richard Kalule getting the opener as early as the 6th minute of the game.

Richard Kalule picked his brace 35 minutes later as Busiro doubled their lead before halftime.

Buddu team managed to pull one back with Micdad Ssenyonga on target to send the game 1-2 at the break.

Back from the break, Frank Ssebuufu scored for Buddu from a beautiful run of play to level matters.

Buddu continued to run riot and minutes later, they got the third from Ivan Sserubiri’s penalty following a foul on Frank Ssebuufu.

Ivan Kato made it four as Buddu completed a remarkable comeback to clinch the bronze medals.

Following their 3rd place achievement, Buddu team walks away with Shs5 million and beaten Busiro gets Shs3 million.

Buddu lost 3-2 on penalties in their semifinal game with Gomba.

Busiro lost their semifinal tie with Ssingo, 3-1 on on aggregate.
