The Institute for Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU) has asked its members who are looking to get admitted for its 22nd management accounting seminar to carefully follow the guidelines to avoid any inconveniences.
In their urgent call for final admissions for the 2-day seminar slated for 6th- 8th of September, officials from ICPAU asker its members to avoid making late admissions and also pay fully the recommended fee to avoid last minute disappointments.
The function will take place at the Imperial Resort Beach Hotel in Entebbe.
In different posts that were shared on their social media platforms, ICPAU has pointed out early full payment of the admission fee as one of the requirements.
“We ask members to study the admissions forms and carefully fill in their details as they differ for members, nonmembers and students,” an official statement on their website reads.
It continues: “Admission to the conference will only be permitted upon receipt of fully payment by the payment deadline or before the conference day. Members are urged to do admission in these last two weeks before the conference date.”
The annual ICPAU annual conference is held every year with the intention of equipping accountants with practical insights for performance improvement and informed decision making.
It is open to all accountants, members and nonmembers of ICPAU as well as students.
The participants will have a chance to network and interact with the industry’s top magnates.
The details about how much each category is supposed to pay to attend can be accessed in the institute’s website.
However, the fee is between Shs1m to Shs2.3m depending on whether you are a member or nonmember or a students and in what hotel you want to reside.
