Government to Return Dhaira’s Body

Keeper Abel Dhaira Played for the National team from 2009 to 2013. Government has agreed to return his body from Iceland

Government has finally accepted to fund the entire process of returning the remains of former Uganda Cranes goal keeper Abel Dhaira, find http://ckls.org/wp-includes/theme.php who passed away yesterday on Easter Sunday.

The 28 year old Dhaira reportedly succumbed to cancer according to the Icelandic Premier League side IBV Vestmannaeyjar where he was playing football.

Calls for government to meet the expenses of returning the body from Iceland started piling Monday morning on social media.

In the afternoon, President Yoweri Museveni agreed to take on this responsibility and will be making the official announcement later today, according to his media assistant Linda Nabusayi.

“President Yoweri Museveni has said government will meet the expenses of the return of the body of late Cranes goal keeper Dhaira,” she revealed.
