FBL: Ogussi Stamps Caterpillars in West Nile Derby

Onduparaka’s hopes of getting a direct promotion have been hampered after suffering their first ever competitive defeat against Paidha Black Angels on Thursday evening at the Bar Okoro playing grounds.

The only goal of the game presented in the 23rd minute after the caterpillars defense failed to clear a loose ball which Abram Ogussi pounced on and advanced to beat a helpless Nafian Alionzi.

“Today we played a different tactic. Its was a derby and didn’t want to give chances. They play like a caterpillar itself very good at passing the ball so we had to close them down, pilule ” Paidha Black Angels captain Stephen Mwaka said.

The loss means that Onduparaka remain on 38 points after 18 games, just three points above Sporting united who have played a game less.
