ENTEBBE: 19 Year Old Girl Raped to Death

Premier league tie pitting table leaders Kampala Capital City Authority FC against Lweza football club scheduled for  Tuesday has been moved from Nakivubo stadium to Maroons stadium in Luzira.

“The match (KCCA FC V Lweza) will be played in Luzira. Nakivubo is not available as communicated by the stadium’s board, click ” AUPL CEO Mr. Bernard Bainamani confirmed to ChimpSports.

Confirmed reports indicate that the stadium will be a political arena on Tuesday as presidential hopeful Hon. Amama Mbabazi will be holding a rally immediately after nomination.

The other games proceed as scheduled.

Police in Entebbe has arrested one person suspected to be part of a group of bandits who over the weekend raped and later murdered a nineteen year old girl only identified as Ritah.

Ritah, side effects a resident of Kitooro in Entebbe Wakiso district was raped in a semi finished flat and after she was dropped from the two storied flat where she died.

According to Patrick Onyango the police spokesperson Kampala metropolitan, view at the crime scene, they recovered a number of used condoms, drugs, alcohol, a jacket and 2 pairs of shoes.

In a related development, following the alleged rape and murder of a 35 year old Florence Namatovu over the weekend, angry residents of Kingo in Lwengo district started a hunt after they got information that the woman was last seen with a one John Walusimbi.

Upon setting their eyes on him, the residents battered Walusimbi to death and set his body on fire before police arrived at the scene.

“What we so far have from our investigations, shows that Walusimbi raped and later murdered the woman, but we cannot hear his side because the residents took mob action on him and he died; we have arrested one person, Richard Senoga and we are looking for others involved in the mob action,” said Noah Sserunjoji the greater Masaka police spokesperson.
