Eid Al Adha: Kabaka Tips Moslems on Unity

The Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has called upon all Muslims countrywide to use Eid Adha prayers to ask Allah to resolve the misunderstandings with in the Islamic faith.

In his message to the Muslims ahead of tomorrow’s Eid prayers, the Kabaka congratulated Moslems upon reaching the important holiday.

He however called upon all Ugandans to continue praying for Muslims who are currently on Holy pilgrimage to Mecca to finalize their hajj peacefully.

Last week the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council declared tomorrow as the day to celebrate Eid Adha.

Later on Government through the Ministry of public service declared Eid day of Friday 1st September as a public holiday that will be observed countrywide.

Eid Adha is the second on the Islamic calendar among the days celebrated worldwide.

It’s held in commemoration of IbrahIm’s strong faith to Allah to the extent that he was willing to offer him his only son Isaac as a scrifice
