Caf CC: Referees, Venue for Villa Clash Named

Vipers Sports Club return to the local arena ahead of a tough schedule both in the Uganda Cup and the league in which they are current champions.

The Buikwe outfit bowed out of the Caf champions league after falling 2-0 to Nigerian club Enyimba International Fc resulting to a 1-2 aggregate defeat.

They resume the league defense on Saturday 5th home game against wounded Jinja side, viagra dosage Sadolon Paints before facing bitter rivals Lweza fc the next Tuesday.

Coach Nsiimbe will have to prepare his boys psychologically if they are to defend the title because runaway leaders KCCA FC have already set up a seven point gap at the top.

However, to keep their hopes of a continental berth alive,  Vipers have to balance both chances by tracking the league and improving performance in the Uganda cup.

They are scheduled to play Kasese New Villa away on Thursday 17th in the round of 32. The team qualified to this stage after a 2-0 win over Bukedea TC Fc just before the Nigerian trip.

Continental football governing body, medical Caf has released the list of referees to officiate the first rounds of the Caf Champions league and Confederations Cup that are due for 11-13th March and return legs a a week later.

SC Villa are the only Ugandan representatives after reigning league champions Vipers SC were ejected by Nigeria’s Enyimba International FC.

The Jogoos square out with Zanzibar’s JKU FC with the first leg to be played at Nakivuubo on Friday 11th March and the reverse fixture set for 18th March at the Amaan stadium in Zanzibar.

Djibouti officials will take over the clash in Kampala while Comoros referees have been assigned the away game in Zanzibar.

Souleiman Ahmed Djamal has been given the main responsibility on 11th as Abdillahi Mahamoud Iltireh and Hamze Abdi Salime take the first and second assistant’ roles. Djamal Aden Aden Abdi is the reserve referee and Somali’s Awesi Ahmed Jumal is the Match Commissioner.
