CAA Receives Award for Dedication to Fight HIV/AIDS

Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has received a Certificate of Appreciation from The AIDS Support Organization (TASO) for their enduring support towards TASO programs in fighting HIV/AIDS.

Hajj Sulaiman Kaseegu, the CAA Senior Human Resource Officer received the award on behalf of CAA on Friday during the 20th Annual General Center meeting (AGM) which was held at the NARO Grounds in Entebbe.

Kaseegu revealed that the CAA as an institution is a long term partner with TASO Entebbe and that they will continue contributing funds annually to TASO under the corporate subscription program to enable them support people living with HIV/AIDS.

“We (CAA) have stood with TASO Entebbe and supported their activities and programs with our financial contributions under the corporate subscription program because they play an important role in treating and sensitizing the public about HIV/AIDS. We shall continue inviting TASO to sensitize the Entebbe Airport staff about HIV/AIDS”, Kaseegu disclosed.

The TASO Entebbe AGM was held under the theme: Building on 30 Years of Community Led HIV/AIDS Service to Scale up HIV Prevention and care to achieve the global targets to HIV Epidemic.
