Mamba Kakoboza 0-1 Mamba Gabunga

Ffumbe 3-0 Ngeye

The BIKA Football last 16 round of matches continued today evening at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku with two mouth-watering ties.

With games at this round played on the basis of home and away, Mamba Gabunga and Ffumbe won their first leg ties to hold an advantage in the coming return legs.

In the first game, Farouk Musisi scored an early opener when his corner kick went directly into the goal to put Mamba Gabunga into the lead, and that was the only difference between the two brotherly sides.

In the second game of the day, Ffumbe swept aside Ngeye with a 3-0 victory, a game which was also played at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

Ffumbe’s Captain Mustafa Kasolo scored a brace, with a goal in each half to add on Ssekasi Newton’s late strike to pile misery on Matia Lule’s Ngeye team.

All the 4 teams will return in action next week on Tuesday for their respective second legs.

On Wednesday, Nvuma will look to overturn their 1-0 deficit when they face off with Nte, as Ndiga will play Mpindi in the late kickoff, first leg ended in a two goal draw.

Wednesday Fixture in Summary

Nvuma vs Nte, 2pm

Ndiga vs Mpindi, 4pm
