AUPL: Sekisambu Sinks Maroons Deeper

The former Villa striker connected from a well curled freekick from teenage superstar Pius Wangi in the 43rd minute. The youngster took the responsibility after he was brought down by Maroons FC skipper Maxwell Okello.

In the golden boot race, Sekisambu is just four goals short of leading scorer Robert Ssentongo.

The league defending champions welcome SC Villa on Friday at the Buikwe stadium in a live televised game.

In the other game played on Tuesday, Police Fc came from 2-1 down to stun hosts’ Bul FC 3-2 at Kakindu. police goals were scored by Hood Kaweesi, Stephen Mugisha and Ronald Nyanzi while John Wakalaita and William Kayondo were for the hosts.
