Residents of Kivundira village in Katabi town council in Wakiso district were on Thursday in shock after the body of one of their colleagues was discovered.
The body of 25 year old Aisha Nakasinde who had been missing since August 13, was discovered dumped in a bush, a few metres from Kasenyi Barracks.
The Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson Emilian Kayima confirmed the death adding by the time of recovery, the body had decomposed.
“This points to the fact that these murders are organised,”Kayima said.
The death brings to 7, the number of women killed in Entebbe in the past 2 months.
The last recorded death was of 27 year old Rose Nakimuli, a hairdresser and resident of Kitaala whose body was recovered in a nearby bush.
In what confirms police preliminary investigations, the deceased in all murders have met their death in similar situations.
The victims are first raped and sticks inserted into their genitals.
In the latest murder, the body of the 25 year old mother of 3 was recovered with sticks inserted in her genitals and throat.
Kayima however urged the locals to always report any suspicious figures in their areas to police.
“The residents should remain calm because we are intensifying security measures to curb these crimes, “he said.
