Besigye told chimpreports yesterday at his home in Kasangati that court had clearly stated that walk to work is not illegal as police alleges.

“Court has publicly announced that police has no right to stop any one from walking. Those are Gen. Kale Kayihura’s own laws. We shall all walk to work tomorrow, hospital http://contemporarydancevideos.com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/comments.php ” he said.

Court in Kasangati on Thursday ruled that arresting and detaining Besigye at his home for walking to work was illegal.

Kampala Regional Police commander Andrew Kaweesi recently said Besigye will not be allowed to walk to work because he incites violence along the way.

Kaweesi says Besigye has ‘another agenda.’

IGP Maj. Gen. Kayihura says Besigye and his colleagues are planning to spark an insurgency in the country to cause the downfall of government.

The walk to work demonstrations have in the past left property worth millions of shillings destroyed and lives lost in clashes between security forces and protestors.
