Outspoken Kampala Women MP Nabilah Ssempala, who last year accused FDC Electoral Commission of incompetence, is said to have joined NRM.
The fears have been sparked by her lukewarm attitude towards party activities including walk-to-work protests. “She rarely attends party meetings or activities.
Nabilah used to be critical of President Yoweri Museveni’s policies but she now unusually relates with NRM bosses as colleagues,” says a source. More info shows the legislator does not even answer calls from her party members, saying “Najjanankumbi meetings bore me.”
Similar rumours came up last year and Col. Kizza Besigye was at one time, shortly after addressing a press conference at Christ The King Church in Kampala, compelled to quiz the controversial legislator: “Nabilah, where have you been?” Whether this piece of gossip is true or not time will tell; but there is no smoke without fire.
