Marines Hunt For Drowned Students


The latest reports indicate that a special Parliamentary session summoned to discuss the corruption in the oil sector has been adjourned after the NRM caucus delayed in their meeting.

The speaker argued that there was no way debate could take off with only opposition MPs in the house.

A source say MPs in the caucus are tearing each into pieces as NRM leadership moves to bulldoze them to ignore the oil debate spearheaded by opposition.

We are told it was communicated to the MPs that rebellious members would be fired from the party.

However, treatment fiery MPs led by Theodore Ssekikuubo insist the rot in the oil sector must be exposed.

It was during the sitting that Entebbe MP Mohammed Kawuma was sworn in after a stormy by-election.

Ssempira Haruna, dosage 21, and Godfrey Kaddu,24, all students of Seguya Technical Institute in Kayunga distric, drowned while swimming.

Central region police publicist Lamech Kigozi says Haruna drowned first and when Kadu tried to save him, they both fell in the jaws of death.

Police warns residents to avoid the river as it has taken the lives of over five folks in less than three months.
