Responding to customer concerns on fraud issues, Mutana stated; “We have also strengthened our internal monitoring and Anti Money-Laundering system and also increased public awareness through continued communication, all as a step by step measure to curb these issues.”
He added: “This has been achieved through various platforms and forums including our Mobile Money Agents and Distributors such as yourselves who play a vital role in supporting our efforts in the development of MTN Mobile Money product”.
