Robbers Clean Up School, Raid Church

However, after preliminary investigations, police arrested three people suspected to have a hand in the robbery.

The arrested were identified as one Esau Wele, Abasi Kawoya and Mohammed Kagwa, the store man.

“Hope the arrested will assist us in further investigations, as we still trail to find where this property was sold or taken,” said Patrick Onyango, the Police Publicist Kampala Metropolitan.

Meanwhile, another attempted robbery at in Kira road, saw two thugs hold five people on gun point.

The incident happened at Kampala International Christian Centre in Kyangya as thugs tried to steal church property including a public address system.

It is also said that a brave believer pounced on one of the attackers prompting the thugs to shoot at them although no one was injured.

“We are still looking for the thugs because they escaped with our gun, and when apprehended, will be charged with attempted murder and attempted robbery,” Onyango said.

He warned those who go for late night prayers to always hire security personnel for their safety.
