Meanwhile, Cranes head coach, Micho Sredjovic, says he is aware of the politics that may be involved during the draws.

“I’m ready for any opponent since the target is first to qualify for group stages before focusing on qualifying for AFCNO 2015,” he said.

While, there is hope that Micho will get the necessary back-up from both the federation and football fans in the country, national team players who play from abroad have not guaranteed their presence.

“Some players abroad don’t have playing time at their respective clubs. I hope they have a desire to represent their country,” recounts Micho.

Micho added that he is planning a friendly match with a yet to be known nation immediately after the draws are concluded.

“I can only look for an opponent after the draws because that is when I will be in position to judge which country would give Uganda hard time,” added Micho.
