Museveni Pays Last Respects To Kitaka

President Museveni said that the NRM resolved to have health centers which include the health Center 4s at the constituency level and the District hospitals.

He said that the Government strategy was to ensure that the Wanainchi receive health care with particular emphasis in immunization. He was pleased to note that the national immunization program has been successful.

He said that during the Presidential elections in 1996 he referred to a grinding stone as an example of carrying out responsibility.

He said that a leader is supposed to work with the people to solve issues. He noted that a leader is given a task to perform at the time of elections. He stressed that a leader should work without hypocrisy.

President Museveni observed that the late Kitaka who presented him a grinding stone was putting ideas into actions. He said that it a pity he died.

He pledged to assist the family and tasked them to identify a productive venture which he promised to facilitate.

The President will build a vocational training Centre in memory of Kitaka.

The Minister for Youth Affairs, Ronald Kibuule saluted President Museveni for returning Ebyaffe to Buganda.

He revealed that the late Kitaka supported the creation of Buikwe District. He thanked the President for signing the anti- homosexuality bill into law.

The Bwikwe District Member of Parliament, Dora Mpiima, revealed that Kitaka supported the Kyankwanzi proposal of having President Museveni as the NRM candidate for the 2016 Presidential elections.

The son of the late Kitaka, Mike Kitaka said that his father gave President Museveni a grinding stone as a symbol of carrying the responsibility of taking care of Uganda.

He saluted the President for fulfilling the responsibility which his father gave him. The family saluted President Museveni for taking care of their bread winner during his illness.
