Meanwhile, Kenyatta also met a British Labour Party Member of Parliament Keith Vaz at his Hotel in London when he paid a courtesy call.

The British MP handed him a rugby jersey number ten from the best European rugby team Leicester Tigers.

Mr. Vaz expressed hope that the Kenya Rugby Sevens will be able to participate in the forthcoming games in Britain.

Keith Vaz, Labour MP for Leicester East in Britain is also Chairman of the Home Affairs Select Committee which recently toured Kenya on a fact finding mission on the impact of the impending UK khat ban.

President Kenyatta thanked the British MP for his efforts in promoting sports saying apart from fostering unity sports also brings understanding amongst people.
