This annoyed KCC officials who handed Majwega an indefinite suspension from the club’s activities.

“Majwega has been with the club for a while but we can’t bear with his bad conduct,” said one of the club officials.

It is not clear if Majwega will be receiving half pay during his suspension.

It is the first time for a player to retaliate directly at a coach’s directive.

George Nsimbe, the club’s head coach, said that Majwega’s absence may halt the team’s plans for title contention.

“But we can tolerate bigheaded players because they spoil the whole team.”
