“Let me break off till I get a new machine that will accommodate my speed and style of driving,” explained Consta on Tuesday morning.

The driver has been cruising in a Subaru N10 alongside former Ponsiano Lwakataka’s navigator, Musa Nsubuga.

Consta will be competing to maintain his form and style of driving until he returns next year.

His decision to withdraw has left the game with less speeding drivers this season since other four known hurtling drivers (Suzan Muwonge, Ponsiano Lwakataka, Arthur Blick and Jas Mangat) won’t take part too.

Consta recorded a record-breaking 141.3km/h during the Jinja Rally although he failed to complete the rally.

In his career, Consta has only won one rally (Mt Elgon Rally) since he started rallying four years back.
