Betway Power 87-55 A.B.C
Arguably Uganda’s most loved Basketball player by far, Nasser Guddi commonly known as ‘Kikiri’ staged what should be his best career performance on a big stage.
Kikiri scored 11 points and grabbed 4 points as Betway Power picked a 87-55 win past Tanzanian Baskeyball side A.B.C in the last game of the day at the MTN Arena in Lugogo.
Kikiri converted in 5 out of his 7 shots inside the area, adding in another free throw to take his tally to 11 points, a score which was only bettered by Odong Paul and Francis Kasinde who scored 13 points and 11 points.
Born in 1992, Kikiri who only played 16 minutes on the court, managed to spice up by his good stats with silky moves, dribbles and extraordinary vigour both defensive and offensive.
Speaking after the game, Kikiri the Fan favourite told ChimpReports: “I am also impressed with my performance today.”
Adding, “I had to surely step up my game because as you know, this is an international tournament. I therefore thank my fans who have cheered me up and I assure you that this is just the beginning.”
Arnold Lando’s side led 38-29 at the break before scoring 25 and 24 points in the third and fourth quarter to seal their victory infront of their beloved fans.
