Yunus Sentamu Makes Debut at FK Tirana

Uganda Cranes forward Yunus Sentamu Junior alias Manucho earned his maiden appearance for his new club FK Tirana.

However, it was a sour start for Sentamu as his team lost to Israel’s Maccabi Tel Aviv.

The pacey finisher played the entire game as FK Tirana lost 2-0 to Maccabi Tel Aviv in the first leg of the Uefa Europa round one qualifier game played on Thursday at Netanya stadium.

Yonatan Cohen and Eliazer Dasa got the goals for the home scoring in the 27th and 64th minute respectively.

Sentamu also went into the referees books for foul play on his debut.

The 23 year old joined the Albanian side last week after months without a club since partying ways with Finish club FC Illves in January this year.

The striker was recruited by Brazilian coach Ze Maria formerly at Gor Mahia and was also making his debut.

The return leg will take place next week in Albania and Sentamu’s Tirana now need a 3 goal advantage to proceed to the next level.
