Woodball: Presidents Cup in the Offing

Players will part with Shs 30,000 as registration fee while those for the corporate clinic will pay Shs 20,000.

Uganda Woodball Federation (UWbF) has lined up the first ever President’s cup challenge to mark eight years of existence in the country.

“We shall be hosting the 1st ever President’s Cup at the Lugogo Cricket Oval on 16th July 2016, and http://centrodelasartesslp.gob.mx/home/wp-content/plugins/cleaner-gallery/cleaner-gallery.php ” the federation announced.

“This will be the day the federation will mark eight years of existence in Uganda and we shall be having a fun day of Woodball activities.”

The mode of play for the challenge cup will be stroke competition (24 gates final) where the best three in the men and ladies category will be feted.

Players have a combined doubles event whereby all categories will compete for the three medals basing on the scores.

The Corporates will have a chance to learn the game in a separate organized clinic incorporated in the same event.

Woodball was introduced in the country around 2008 and has since grown from just one-day competitions to a league that started this year. They (UWbF also organize beach and schools competition.
