Woman Remanded for Stealing Tycoon   Freeman Kiyimba’s Shs. 384 Million

Buganda road chief magistrate Jamson Karemani has charged a Kikuubo business lady Juliet  Nabunya with 110 counts relating to theft of 384 million shillings belonging to John Fred Kiyimba ‘Freeman, shop ’ and uttering false documents.

Ms Nabunya denied the charges, viagra 100mg prompting State Prosecutor Emilly Ninsiima to seek an adjournment as investigations carry on.

Nabunya through her counsel Muhammad Matovu pleaded to be released on bail having been in police custody since 16th April 2017.

But to this, prosecution responded that her charges involve colossal sums of money and that court shouldn’t rush to free her.

The prosecution alleges that between 31st May 2014 and January 2017 in Kikuubo, Nabunya stole 384million shillings from Kiyimba.

State further alleges that the accused forged a Standard Chartered Bank cheque worth 5 million shillings.

 Nabunya was remanded to Luzira prison until 16th May 2017 when she will be returning for the ruling on her bail.
