Why SC Villa Sacked Head Coach Deo Sserwadda

“We have terminated Sserwadda’s contract because of the poor performance,” he said.

Sserwadda joined SC Villa in July this year on a two year deal and has been in charge at the Nsambya based club for just seven league games before his contract was terminated.

In the seven games, the manager has won three,drawn three and lost once. His first game at SC Villa was on 19th, August against Police and the game ended goalless.

Under Ssewadda’s brief reign, the Jogoos have scored 10 goals and conceded just five, keeping five clean sheets therein and leaves the club in fourth position on 12 points, six behind leaders KCCA but with a game in hand.

Assistant coach Shafik Bisaso will take on the club as the caretaker manager before a new coach is revealed.

Reports indicate that SC Villa are closing in to land their former coach Moses Basena who is currently with Uganda Premier League side, The saints.
