We’re Not Moved, 2019 is Our Target –Magogo

Local football chief Eng. Moses Magogo has commended the performance of the Uganda Cranes defeating Botswana’s Zebras in an Africa cup of nations cup qualifier match day five.

Uganda requires a win against Comoros to reach the first ever major tournament since taking part in the 1978 Afcon edition in Ghana, 38 years ago.

The Fufa president however pledged continuous support for the team in the current qualifiers which climax on September 3rd with the last game against Comoros in Namboole.

He informed the pubic that the federation is working tooth and nail to get the available funds from the government to ensure better preparations.

“The previous matches against Burkina Faso, the government gave only UgX 300M which was not enough to cover all costs but we appreciated because it was a period of transition. This time we are more optimistic with the people who have been appointed in the ministries and we’ll continue working.”
