Uganda takes on Congo Brazzaville in the second game in group E of the 2018 World cup qualifiers this Saturday at the Mandela national stadium and Mawejje believes they have prepared enough to get the result they want.
“We are set as a team. We have been training well in the previous days and I believe everybody is ready,” said Mawejje.
The robust midfielder also indicates that the mood in the camp is encouraging and everyone is focused for Saturday’s clash.
“When I look at the camp, the morale is good and every player is now focused on the game against Congo Brazzaville tomorrow,” explained Mawejje in an interview.
Mawejje has also promised the fans a good game and has vowed that they will return back the favour.
“We promise to give the best to our dear fans by winning and give them the joy they deserve,” he vowed.
“Therefore, I call upon all the fans to come in big numbers as they have always done,” said Mawejje.
Uganda who currently occupy third spot in group E on one point picked against Ghana in the opening fixture takes on Congo Brazzaville who began the campaign with a 2-1 loss to Egypt.
