Residents of Rwampara County in western Uganda are not happy with their elected Member of Parliament Vincent Kyamadidi and his way of conducting parliamentary work.
The residents especially from Mwizi Sub County have reacted angrily to what they called dreadful indifference by the legislator, try http://dakarlives.com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/modules/after-the-deadline.php every time he is called to their plight.
The retorted that a leader, who ought to be guiding and advising his people about the dangers of excessive alcoholism, had instead turned himself into a notorious dipsomaniac.
“We keep seeing his pictures in the news downing glass by glass in Rwebikoona, we wonder if he ever attend parliament at all,” said one Rubaramira Emanzi while speaking to Chimpreports.
Rubaramira, the former Mwizi sub county chairman told us that the people of Rwampara had voted Kyamadidi, because they thought he was charismatic and would help steer them pas grinding poverty, poor education and health facilities.
He told us that most of the development projects present in Rwampara were those brought by his predecessor Charles Ngabirano.
“Currently the six Health Centers we have no health workers and patients are dropping one by one. Even the 7secondary schools we have are all in a sorry state,” he said.
Kyamadidi was also accused of missing almost every function in the district including the recent women’s day fete held in Bugamba.
They said they are working on a process screening their next member of parliament, who must be tested to ensure that they will bring results.
