Jinja Municipal Hippos coach George William Lutaalo is still harboring hopes of his team avoiding the chop at the twilight of the season.
The club’s plight deepened further with the 3-1 loss to bitter town rivals BUL FC in Wednesday afternoon.
“My team tried what we could to get a result from the game but ended up on the losing side at the end of the day, order http://citybreakguide.ro/wp-content/themes/genesis/lib/functions/formatting.php ” Lutaalo told ChimpSports. “However that’s not the end of the road because we are still in the race to survival.”
“The game wasn’t bad but the team with enough luck always carries the points and in this case they were and we’re the unfortunate ones. The few mistakes made are responsible for the defeat.”
JMC Hippos cling on substratum of the pack with only three points after twelve games, and eight adrift safety.
The team remains with three games against Police FC away and then Bright Stars and Express FC at home before heading for the mid season break.
“We hope to improve in our coming fixtures to overcome our current situations. We’re down but not out,” he added
