Wcup 2018: Uganda to Camp, Play Togo Ahead of Ghana Opener

Uganda Cranes Boss Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has revealed that the team will camp in Lome the capital of Togo as well as play an international build up match against the Sparrow Hawks ahead of the 2018 Worldcup qualifiers opener.

Uganda was pooled in group E alongside Congo Brazzaville, here http://childrensclasses.org/wp2012/wp-includes/pluggable-deprecated.php Egypt and Ghana. The Cranes open their campaign with an away match to Ghana on Sunday 9th October.

They will later host Congo on November 12th this year before heading for the Afcon finals in mid-January and February next year.

The Cranes advanced to the group stages after overcoming Togo in the second round with an aggregate 4-0 margin over two legs.

Togo will use the match as a preparation for the 2017 Africa cup of Nations to be held in Gabon. Both Uganda and Togo qualified for the finals after emerging the best two runners up in the overall ranking from group D and A respectively.
