Uganda Cranes face an uphill task in the road to Russia for the 2018 Fifa world cup after being drawn against footballing giants Ghana and Egypt in the qualifiers drawn on Friday 24th in Cairo.
Congo (Brazzaville) makes the fourth team in group E in which only the table toppers qualify for the coveted global show piece.
Five teams will qualify from the groups containing four teams each. Each team is expected to play six matches on home and away basis against the other three group members.

The qualifiers will kick off on October 3rd 2016 to November 14th 2017.
In the other groups Tunisia. Libya, DR Congo and Guinea have been placed in group A while Uganda’s Afcon group D contenders Burkina Faso tussle out with South Africa, Cape Verde and Senegal in group D.
