WC 2018: Ayew Returns as Grant Names Strong Arsenal for Egypt

Ghana coach, information pills Avram Grant has named 23 players for the upcoming Russia 2018 World Cup (Africa) group E qualifier against Egypt’s Pharaohs on Sunday 13 November.

The Black Stars manager has left out team skipper Asamoah Gyan for injury reasons while Juventus reportedly advised the Israeli coach against summoning midfielder Kwado Asamoah.

Andy Yiadom has been handed debut call to the team. The defender has been an integral part of English Championship side Barnsley FC.

West Ham striker Andrew Ayew who had earlier missed the barren draw against Uganda Cranes is making a return and will skipper the team at the Borg El Arab Stadium.

The stars are scheduled to camp at the United Arab Emirates for five days before connecting to Egypt in Friday 11 November.
