“We need change in our schools, cheap beginning from teaching staffs changing your attitude towards your job and pupils, and I cannot do that alone but with you all on Board,” he said.

Hon Engola who doubles as Oyam North  constituency member of parliament was today 5th  February  2017 meeting both teaching and management staff of  Agobedong and Akwangi primary schools all in Orupo parish Iceme Sub-county.

He called upon the teaching staff and management committees to work out joint solutions in order to improve and create a total change in the performances of the pupils in the schools.

He said that by teachers knowing their proper role in classes, doing ample preparations before engaging in classes and having Self accountability for themselves and their respective classes, there will be a remarkable change.

Hon Engola encouraged the teachers to be change wagons in whatever they do during and after teaching time because they are first examples always emulated by the pupils.

The minister promised to solicit guiding teaching texts books to enhance the teaching staff of both Agobedong and Akwangi primary schools.

He fortified the teachers to use the available school land and engage in agricultural production as it will solve the food scarcity problem one of the sighted challenge for both teachers and pupils in the schools.
