Vipers Raid KCCA Technical Bench, Sign Coach

Ayala has served KCCA FC both as a coach and player. He previously worked under coach Nsiimbe and Mubiru.

Uganda cup winners Vipers Sports Club have raided league champions KCCA FC’s technical bench and signed assistant coach John ‘Ayala’ Luyinda.

Ayala has previously worked under both Vipers coach Abdallah Mubiru and his assistant George ‘Best’ Nsiimbe both formerly at KCCA FC.

He joins the dethroned league champions after a five year spell at Lugogo dating back to 2011.

The youthful coach was unveiled on Tuesday at Vipers training ground at St. Mary’s School in Kitende.

The 31- year old played for KCCA FC in the 2010-11 season when Vipers won their maiden title. He had joined after a season tenure at former topflight side Water FC.

Ayala also featured for SC Villa in 2008/10 where he claimed his only silverware as a player after winning the Uganda Cup.

He has three league titles as (an assistant) coach, all won at KCCA FC during his five year stay.
