“A delegation of 22 people has this morning (Wednesday), 5.00am, departed for Tanzania, where we are to participate in a charity game against Yanga FC (SC),” Mr. Kakembo said in a statement to the media.
The match is organized by Nyumbani Kwanza Media Group and is scheduled to take place on Saturday evening. The main aim of the charity game is to create awareness about the killings of Albinos in Tanzania and the whole region.
“Through this match, we believe we are playing a vital part in the bid to end these killings.

Sports Club Villa has come out to officially announce and clarify on the reasons why they have massively released players just days after winning the Uganda cup finals at Namboole. Uncertainty has been surrounding the exact players released, leading to several contradicting information cycling on social media and other platforms, but the club has come out to say that the players have only been released and others’ contract had expired.
“There have been contrasting reports in the media about the number of players we have released and the reasons behind our decision to part ways with them.”
The statement further explained, “These have either been released or their contracts ran out. There have been no disputes with players regarding bonuses as some media outlets are purporting.”
