Dr. Walusasa appreciated the women for taking such an initiative to help patients most of whom are women who are poor with no quick access to health care.

“Cancer is a disease that affects women; by nature women tend to be disadvantaged since even when they are not the ones infected with cancer, they still have to take care of the husband and the children who are patients,” Walusasa said.

“We are happy that you have joined us to complete the cycle in the fight against cancer; the fight is still on and we are still fighting.”
