However, preliminary reports indicate the tyre of the bus in which the players were travelling burst before the vehicle rammed into a commuter taxi.
Some of the Cranes players including Hassan Wasswa, Ceasar Okhuti and Kezironi Kizito sustained injuries in the accident.
