With the league winding up this weekend, ambulance the encounter between SC Villa and URA FC comes a day earlier than the other fixtures.
The game initially scheduled for Saturday was brought forward by the league organising committee to allow the final of the ongoing National post primary tournament take place given the fact they use the same venue (Masaka Recreation ground).
Sports Club Villa have already secured the second position and as they take on Uganda Revenue Authority FC this Friday, ask there won’t be anything to fight for other than pride.
The Jogoos come into this encounter on the back of a hard fought victory against SC Vipers on Tuesday which itself gives them confidence ahead of their final game.
Head coach Wasswa Bossa indicates, click they need to finish on an impressive note as they prepare for next season.
“We shall go into the final game expecting maximum points because we need to end the season on a high,” said Bossa.
On the other hand, URA FC have been in scintillating form since Ibrahim Kirya took charge and would also be seeking for a positive result in Masaka.
The tax collectors picked a 1-0 victory against Bright stars courtesy of Bokoto Labama’s strike.
Villa will continue to miss the services of Emma Okwi who is still on suspension, Ambrose Kirya and Paul Mbowa are still doubtful to feature today.
URA FC start life without Hamis Kiiza who has switched to Sudanese side Al Hilal at the start of this week.
The first round meeting between the two sides ended in a one all draw at Mehta stadium in Lugazi.
